The High School for Health Professions & Human Services Environmental Club, under the guidance of Mr. Arguelles, proudly announces the successful installation of two hydroponic stations in the West Cafeteria. This initiative, carried out in collaboration with the organization Teens for Food Justice and NYC DOE Office of Sustainability, marks a significant step towards learning about sustainable food practices within our school community.
By bringing hydroponic farming into the heart of our school environment, we empower students to become active participants in the journey towards a more sustainable future.
As we celebrate this milestone achievement, we extend our gratitude to all those who have supported and contributed to the realization of this project. Together, we look forward to nurturing a culture of environmental awareness and empowerment within our school and beyond.
